West Berkshire Council sponsored the Best New Business Category at the Best In Business Awards held by Newbury Weekly News. We attended the event last Friday, 31 March, to present the award to the winner of our category. We were delighted to see so many businesses apply for this category highlighting how many innovative new businesses are starting and thriving in West Berkshire; boosting our economy and employment environment.
It was a hard decision but one company stood out for their value in the community, their employee welfare and their business growth and potential. The West Berkshire Cleaning Company won the award and it was well deserved so we would like to offer a huge congratulations to them.
It’s great to see such a vibrant business community in West Berkshire and all the businesses and organisations who attended the awards deserve to be recognised. We look forward to supporting more businesses in the district to start, grow and thrive in the coming years.
